Liar

Sailing through dreams that are now nightmares, I exhale
Deepening the sickening wounds until my heart grows pale.
I reach out for the aura of you that haunts my every breath,
Fighting human nature's grip on my instincts, closer to my death,

My conscience is now being weakened by desire and want, my mind's goal is clear
This is a burning hell that rips my moral being, fighting myself because you are near
Aching and pining is my touch for you, but against my violent passion I stay back
I fight to remain even minded and calm, My desires screaming to attack.

I'd be lying if I told you I didn't want to be with you
